Open Google Profile in the left menu, then click Posts. A post is a short update that shows on your Google listing, the box that appears when people Google you.
You can make three kinds:
- What's new — a general update.
- Offer — a deal or discount.
- Event — something happening on a date.
Add a photo and a button so the post stands out and gives people something to click.
When your post is ready, you have three choices:
- Save it as a draft to finish later.
- Schedule it to go out on a day you pick.
- Post it to Google right away.
Some posts use a copy-then-paste step, where you copy the post and paste it on Google. The tool walks you through it.
If Google Profile isn't showing in your menu, it isn't turned on for your account yet. Ask the support team.
Why this matters
Fresh posts make your listing look alive and active. An up-to-date listing gives customers more reason to trust you and call.
