How do I see how my business is doing on Google?

Open Google Profile in the left menu, then click Overview. It's a one-page report card for your business on Google.

The Overview shows you three things:

  1. How your business ranks near you on the map.
  2. How healthy your Google listing looks.
  3. The single next thing worth doing.

Your Google listing is the box with the map, your hours, and your reviews that shows up when someone Googles your business. It is separate from your website.

From the Overview you can jump to the other Google tabs, like Reviews, Posts, and Weekly Tasks. It's the best place to start.

The Overview only works once your Google listing is connected. If it isn't connected yet, the support team can help you link it.

If you don't see Google Profile in your left menu, it isn't turned on for your account. Ask the support team and they can turn it on.

Why this matters

One glance tells you where you stand and what to do next. That saves you from digging through Google to figure out how you're doing.
