Your SEO score is a simple grade of how well your site is set up to show up on Google. Higher is better.
SEO just means showing up higher on Google. The score doesn't decide your Google ranking by itself, but a healthy site has a better chance over time.
To see it:
- In the left menu, click the word Advanced to open that section.
- Click Auto SEO.
On that page you'll find:
- A health score at the top.
- A list titled Fixed for you automatically — things the system already handled without you.
- A list of issues that need you, the owner, to act.
- A score history that shows how you've done over time.
If your site is brand new, you'll see a countdown until the first check runs. That's normal. Wait for it to finish.
To raise your score, work through the issues in that owner list one at a time. Each one you clear nudges the score up.
Why this matters
The score turns a fuzzy question, "is my site any good for Google?", into a clear to-do list. Clearing that list makes your site easier for Google to trust.
