There are two ways to see a change before customers do.
The Homepage editor has a live preview right beside it. As you type, the preview updates. You see the change before you even save.
Some accounts save to a draft first. On those, pressing Save brings up a banner with three choices:
- Preview shows your whole site with the change.
- Discard throws the change away.
- Publish puts it on the live site.
Not every account has that draft step. On the rest, Save goes live right away. To check the result, click the orange View Site button.
Why this matters
Seeing a change first lets you catch a typo or a wrong price before a customer ever sees it.
