On the login screen for your site editor, click the Forgot password link. It emails you a reset link. Click that link and you can set a new password.
Check your email inbox after you click it. If you don't see the message, look in your spam folder.
If you still know your password and just want to change it:
- Click Account at the bottom of the menu on the left.
- Find the Change Password panel.
- Type your current password, then your new password twice.
One thing to know: your account page has its own separate login, different from the site editor. Resetting one password does not change the other.
Why this matters
A forgotten password shouldn't lock you out of your own business. The reset link gets you back in without waiting on anyone.
