Open a photo in the Media tab and you'll find a box for a short description — one plain line saying what's in the picture (it helps Google and blind visitors).
- In the left menu under Your Website, click Media.
- Open the photo.
- Type one plain line in the description box.
- Press Save.
This line does two jobs. It helps Google understand the photo, and it's read aloud for blind visitors.
A good one: "New tankless water heater installed in a Mesa garage." A bad one: "IMG_4032," or a pile of sales words. One sentence is plenty.
Why this matters
A plain description helps Google show your photo to more people, and it makes your site work for everyone. Both are small wins that add up.
